Welcome back! CTE students return to school tomorrow, January 6th, 2021! CTE teachers and staff are excited to welcome students back to school. A few reminders: School begins promptly at 7:45 am, students should be wearing a mask as they enter the building, and be sure that your chromebook is fully charged and ready for the day! Additionally, we encourage students to bring their own water bottle.
Report cards will be sent home Thursday, January 7th.
CTE Parents- Students will be bringing home a holiday bag with breakfast items Wednesday afternoon, and lunch items Thursday afternoon courtesy of our food services department.
Friday, December 18th, is an early release day. Busses will dismiss at 10:20 am and car riders will be dismissed at 10:30 am.

Attention CTE Parents:
We just received word from our Commissioner of the High School League that the state championship game has been postponed until December 18th.
As a result, we will NOT be dismissing early tomorrow, Friday, December 4th. It will remain a full academic day.
Cherokee Trail Parents: We will be dismissing at 12:30 pm this Friday, December 4th to cheer on Abbeville High School's Football Team as they compete against Marion for the state championship. Good luck Panthers!
Students will receive a "Thankful Heart Snack Bag" at dismissal today.
CTE would like to wish all of our students a very Happy Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving Break is 11/25-11/27. We will see you back at school on Monday, November 30th!

Picture retake day is coming! Lifetouch will be at CTE on Monday, November 9th, 2020 for any student who needs to retake their yearbook picture.
ACSD Parents, it is time to make your selection for your child's instructional setting for the spring semester.
Please complete the attached survey link below once for each of your students enrolled in Abbeville County School District.
Remember that grades for students enrolled Face-to-Face and in iTECH Academy will determine the student's retention or promotion to the next grade or course. Regardless of the instructional setting, students must participate in the learning and demonstrate mastery of the content to be promoted to the next grade/course.
This survey is open for parents to indicate their choice through Friday, November 6th. After that date, the placement of the student will be at the administrator's discretion.

Parents, due to the recent announcement by State Superintendent Molly Spearman of masks now being required in every public school building, the ACSD iTECH Academy registration deadline has been extended until Monday, August 3, at midnight.
Parents wishing to make any changes to an already submitted registration, please contact your child’s school by Monday afternoon.
Any parent in need of Internet services at home for a child enrolled in the iTECH Academy, please contact your child’s school to see if you qualify for free Internet services, provided by Abbeville County School District.
Parents, if you have a rising 5K student who did not attend one of our 4K programs last year OR a child
who is new to our district, please go by the school on Tuesday, July 28th, between 8:30 and 3:00 to
complete the new student registration packet.
Parents, if you need assistance completing the online registration form for your returning ACSD student,
you may go by the child’s school on Tuesday, July 28th, between 8:30 and 3:00. Computers will be
available for use, and a staff member can assist with questions you may have.
The online registration portal for returning students is now open. You should be receiving another email with your snapcode information soon. If you completed registration when we originally launched it on June 16th, you will not need to re-register.
4K Pre-Registration Make-Up days:
Make up days for 4K Pre-Registration will be held at each 4K school. Dates are to be determined. Everyone interested in this should pick up a 4K Pre-Registration packet from the school, complete the packet, and return it to the school. Parents/Guardians will be called to schedule an appointment once the make-up date and times have been determined. Questions or concerns can be directed to Kathy Bernard at the district office administrative offices at 366-5427.
Also, parents/guardians need to return the confirmation letters for the 4K program from the March 6th pre-registration. These should be returned to the ACSD District Office on 400 Greenville St.
