We would like to say a huge THANK YOU to the wonderful members of the CTE PTO! They spent the day treating our teachers to drinks from The Hive, passing out shirts, and helping teachers prepare some instructional materials for students! CTE July Dates


Registration for the 2025-2026 school year is open! Please see our previous registration post for instructions on how to register your returning student in your Parent Portal account. We will have on-site registration on July 15th.

We are excited to announce that Mrs. Sandy Robinson was voted the 2025-2026 Teacher of the Year for Cherokee Trail Elementary! Mrs. Robinson teaches 4th Grade at CTE and is more than deserving of this title! In the words of a colleague, "Mrs. Robinson's classroom is a safe and welcoming space where every student feels loved and supported. She shows patience and wisdom in all situations, from meetings to classroom situations. The positive impact she has made on our school community is lasting and profound, making her a truly deserving candidate for this honor." Congratulations, Mrs. Robinson! CTE loves you!


Just a reminder that school will be closed on Monday, May 26th in observance of Memorial Day. We hope everyone enjoys a safe and restful long weekend as we honor and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.


Field Day will begin tomorrow at 8:15 AM for K4–3rd grades and at 11:30 AM for 4th–6th grades. If you submitted your name for pre-approval last week, please check in at the table outside the front office to receive your nametag. If you did not pre-register, you may sign in at the front office to receive a visitor’s sticker. Please remember there are no pets allowed during field day!
