To begin our celebration of Read Across America Week, we welcomed some of our cherished retirees back to CTE! They visited classrooms throughout the building to read to our students. It was a wonderful morning filled with stories, smiles, and memories. We’re not sure who enjoyed it more—the students or our guest readers!

Parents/Guardians,

As we prepare for upcoming testing, student Chromebooks will no longer be sent home daily. This will help ensure we have enough working devices available for MAP and SC READY testing. Any damaged devices will need to be repaired promptly so they are ready for student use.

If a situation arises where devices are needed at home—such as inclement weather or additional academic support—we will have a plan in place for distribution.

STEAM Night Donations Needed!

Mid-winter break will be Monday (Feb. 23) to Friday (Feb. 27). Students will return to school on Monday (March 2).

Students have 5 days from their return to school to complete their e-Learning work in order to receive a grade and be counted as present for the day. The due date for the Feb. 2 e-learning day will be Feb. 9. Please make sure all work is completed and turned in. If you have any questions, please contact your child's teacher.

Please log in to Parent Portal to view your child’s progress report. If you would like a printed copy, just reach out to your child’s teacher, and we’ll be happy to send one home.

It’s not too late to complete your Treasure Map, earn your prizes, and help your child’s teacher earn a shopping spree to purchase books and supplies for the classroom! CTE will operate on a 3 hour delay, Tuesday, February 3rd. Doors will open at 10:15 and our day will begin at 10:45. Please expect buses to pick up 3 hrs. later than normal morning pick up time.
