The SC Department of Education Parent Opinion Surveys are open and ready for parents to complete! Students will bring home a letter with instructions on completing the survey. Come out and support the wrestling team on Saturday as they compete in the State playoffs at Dixie. Dixie will wrestle Eau Claire at 11 am. The winner of the first match will then face Fairfield-Central.
High school league passes will be the only passes accepted as this is State playoffs. Prices will be $8 per SCHSL guidelines.
The girls' basketball game scheduled for tonight has been canceled. The varsity boys' game will now start at 6:00 pm at Dixie.
Dixie will host seat time recovery hours from 8:00am-3:00pm on Tuesday, January 3. Students who intend to stay the entire day will need to bring lunch.
On June 15, 2023, the Dixie, Calhoun Falls, Ware Shoals, Greenwood Christian, and Whitimire football teams will hae a 7 on 7 Passing Game. It will start at 9:30.
EOC Testing
The Snow Ball will be held on December 10, 2022.
Student Government will be hosting a food drive next week. Please send items to support this service project.
Interact will packing Operation Christmas Child boxes on November 14. If you would like to donate items for this service project, please send them by Monday.
Dixie will be hosting a blood drive on Friday, November 11th. Please come out and donate blood.
The Varsity Football team will have their first playoff game against Calhoun County High School on Friday at 7:30. Tickets will not be sold at the gate. Only digital tickets will be accepted. Tickets are on sale at GoFAn.

Dixie Volleyball plays St Joseph’s tonight. You can access the video on the SJCS Athletics Department YouTube page HERE or you can also go to YouTube and search SJCS Athletic Department and then click videos and you can get to it there as well. The Live event will start on our YouTube channel tonight at 5:50.
Community-Wide Homecoming Pep Rally tonight at 5:30pm at the football field! The Booster Club has extra BBQ chicken plates for sale for $10. Pizza, snacks and drinks will also be for sale. Come out for a night of family fun!
Dixie High School ranks #14 of 226 high schools in the state! Dixie is #3 for the traditional high schools! Congratulations to all of our students and faculty for their hard work!

The South Carolina Seal of Biliteracy Mission Statement: The South Carolina Seal of Biliteracy advances the state's commitment to preparing every learner for college- and career-readiness in an increasingly international community by recognizing learners who attain levels of proficiency in English and at least one other world language required in the global workforce.
All South Carolina students are eligible to attain the South Carolina Seal of Biliteracy based on two qualifications submitted during their junior and / or senior year of achieving the required level of language proficiency in a language other than English (Qualification 1) and in English (Qualification 2); qualification requirements must be met for both English and another language for each South Carolina Seal of Biliteracy attained, regardless of the student applicant’s first/heritage language.
Participating districts make the South Carolina Seal of Biliteracy available to prospective students in the fall (high school juniors and seniors) and report those who qualified in the spring via PowerSchool.
Earning this award gives South Carolina students an opportunity to provide evidence displaying their language proficiency to universities and employers. The South Carolina Seal of Biliteracy is an award that serves South Carolina students who come from many backgrounds – multilingual learners, heritage speakers, as well as learners of a second language other than English. This seal encourages students to take ownership of their language proficiency growth, to better prepare themselves for today’s workforce, and to give them an edge in a competitive job market.
