SC Ready Testing Dates for the 2025-2026 School Year! Please remember that students should not bring cell phones to school on testing days.

Serving as principal of Cherokee Trail Elementary School has been a true honor and privilege. For the 2026–2027 school year, I will be moving into a new role as Director of the Abbeville County Career Center. While I am excited for this next chapter, I will always treasure the relationships and memories built with our students, families, and staff during my time at CTE.
I am pleased to share that Mrs. Ongela Nance will serve as principal for the 2026–2027 school year. I am confident she will continue leading Cherokee Trail Elementary with the same dedication, care, and commitment to excellence that our school community deserves.
