mr. milford after being "pied"

Today, CTE held a special celebration assembly for students.  Prior to beginning our district MAP testing, Mr. Milford challenged students to do their best to show growth in test scores from fall to winter.  Students were excited and eager to show how much they had learned over the past four months.

Mrs. Cann's Kindergarten class made the most growth for any class in the school - 219 points growth for reading!  They will receive a pizza party to celebrate their accomplishment.

Mr. Milford promised the students that if the school worked together to make 1,500 points total growth, then students would be selected to "pie the principal."  Not only did our students achieve this goal, but also they surpassed the growth goal with over 4,800 points of growth in reading and math.  Three students were selected to "pie the principal" in front of the entire student body this afternoon.  It was an afternoon full of messy fun for CTE students.

Way to go, CTE!!!
