2nd graders are learning about parts of speech to include nouns, adjectives, and verbs. This week, we focused on verbs and used our “shades” to go on a verb hunt around our classroom. We recorded the verbs we found on our paper sunglasses. We found them all over the place, including in our classroom rules and spelling words! We also played charades and guessed which verbs our classmates were acting out. Learning about verbs is fun!
